CHP handed out almost 400 free lunches to truckers for Driver Appreciation

On Monday, the California Freeway Patrol (CHP) coordinated with different organizations to supply truckers with a bagged lunch for Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

The lunch giveaway occurred on the Cordelia Industrial Car Enforcement Facility in Fairfield, California.

CHP says that members of the California Trucking Affiliation together with Western Truck Heart cooked lunches, then members of the California Air Useful resource Board, PrePass, Drivewyze, CHP Industrial Car Part, and Cordelia workers labored at hand out meals to drivers on the Cordelia facility.

“…375 bagged lunches have been handed out as a thanks to the drivers who maintain commerce shifting,” CHP stated.

CHP’s Donner Cross facility is providing an analogous Truck Driver Appreciation occasion on September 13, with truckers handled to a free BBQ lunch.
