CHP says driver survived wild crash off I-80 down embankment close to railroad tracks

The California Freeway Patrol (CHP) says {that a} truck driver will probably be okay following a crash off I-80 over the weekend.

The crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 close to Farad, California, close to the Nevada border.

A truck reportedly crashed off I-80 and down an embankment, coming to a cease only a few ft away from a set of railroad tracks.

In keeping with CHP – Truckee, the truck driver survived with solely minor accidents.

“May have been worse.. good factor the large rig didn’t land on the railroad tracks,” CHP stated in a social media put up.

Police didn’t present info on what led to the crash.
