Driver for Indiana grain firm wins Pilot’s Highway Warrior grand prize

A trucker with 50 years on the street was chosen by the Pilot Firm as its 2023 Highway Warrior grand prize winner.

Don Crouse has been an over-the-road driver for greater than 50 years, and at present drives for the trucking division of Boyd Grain of Washington, Indiana.

Crouse honors fallen troopers by way of his work with Wreaths Throughout America and serves as part of the official escort to Arlington Nationwide Cemetery. He and his spouse, Cindy, have expanded this work by way of ceremonies honoring America’s heroes all through Indiana. His truck options 64 veterans who’ve given their lives for the nation.

Crouse gained $15,000.

The second runner-up was Robert Palm, a trucker for 42 years and the founding father of Truckers Remaining Mile. He obtained $10,000.

Angelique Temple was the competition’s third place winner. The owner-operator has been driving for over 20 years. She obtained $5,000.
