Employee accused of embezzling greater than $340,000 from trucking firm

A former trucking firm worker is going through fees associated to tons of of hundreds of {dollars} value of fraudulent transactions, based on authorities in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Iowa resident Bradley Scott Brown, 43, is going through theft by illegal taking fees and theft by deception fees, based on the Lincoln Police Division (LPD).

LPD started investigating Brown after M&D Trucking contacted police in September 2022 concerning irregularities in gasoline card purchases and payroll.

LPD investigators recognized $340,825.58 in suspected fraudulent transactions between 2019 and 2022.

Brown turned himself in to the Lancaster County Jail on Monday, March 6.
