Man dies after his field truck was dragged underneath tractor trailer, South Carolina officers say

Authorities say {that a} field truck driver was killed in a crash involving a semi truck in the course of the Thursday night rush hour in South Carolina.
The crash occurred round 4:40 p.m. on April 27 on I-85 close to Blacksburg, South Carolina.
Field truck driver Timothy Antonio McNeil, 25, was southbound on I-85 at mile marker 106 when visitors slowed for a earlier deadly crash on the interstate.
Because the field truck was stopped for the visitors, it was struck by a southbound semi truck.
Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler described the crash:
“After making contact, the tractor trailer dragged the truck a number of hundred ft earlier than the motive force realized it was beneath.“
McNeil died on the scene.
A passenger within the field truck was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening accidents.
The crash that prompted the visitors slowdown occurred at 4:35 p.m. when 56 12 months outdated motorist Leigh Ann Hamilton Marshall struck a retaining wall and misplaced management, veering into the trail of a semi truck. Marshall died on the scene and a passenger was hospitalized.
