Police trying to find motorist accused of stabbing rubbish truck driver with pen in street rage incident

Police in Sydney, Australia are trying to find a motorist accused of stabbing a rubbish truck driver in a street rage incident. 

The street rage incident occurred on Monday at round 3:25 p.m. on the border of Botany and Mascot in Sydney, Australia between Basic Holmes Drive and Botany Street. 

Based on The Sydney Morning Herald, the 49-year-old rubbish truck driver was stabbed within the arm by a Kia driver, who then fled the scene. 

The sufferer was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, and two southbound lanes of Southern Cross Drive had been closed for an investigation. 

The lanes have since been reopened and police are nonetheless trying to find the motorist.
