Semi turns into disabled following U-turn try, resulting in crash that killed automotive driver

The Missouri State Freeway Patrol (MSHP) is investigating a deadly weekend crash in Greene County that occurred following a truck driver’s U-turn try.

The crash occurred at 4:22 a.m. on February 11 on Freeway 360 a mile west of Republic, Missouri.

Based on MSHP, 59 12 months outdated Douglas Grimes of Missouri was behind the wheel of 2011 Peterbilt when he tried to make a U-turn and have become disabled along with his truck blocking the roadway.

Missouri resident Gary Sawyer, 74, was working a 2018 Taurus and struck the trailer of the disabled automobile.

Sawyer was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Grimes was unhurt.

Whereas the crash stays beneath investigation by MSHP, native information outlet KOAM Information Now says that the U-turn was carried out illegally and shared photographs of a No U-Flip Signal on the deadly crash web site.
