Texas DPS says unsafe velocity led to fiery tanker crash that killed truck driver

Officers in Texas are investigating a tanker truck crash that claimed the lifetime of a truck driver in Cameron County on Monday night.
The crash occurred in Brownsville as a tanker driver hauling hazardous flammable materials was northbound on State Freeway 550.

The motive force misplaced management and struck a concrete barrier. The truck rolled over and caught fireplace, sending up enormous plumes of black smoke.
The truck driver died on the scene.
