Texas trucker injured in crash on U.S. 16 in northeastern Wyoming

A trucker from Texas was airlifted to a hospital after he was ejected from his truck when it jackknifed and crashed on a mountain freeway in Wyoming not too long ago.

Ariel Crespo Sori, 51, of Houston, was injured within the crash that occurred Oct. 5. on U.S. Freeway 16 close to Buffalo in northeastern Wyoming. Sori’s truck is claimed to have struck a guardrail and overturned whereas descending a downhill grade.

The truck was loaded with 40,000 kilos of bentonite, a clay used to make some medicines and make-up.

The Wyoming Freeway Patrol suggests Sori could not have entered a compulsory brake examine turnout. He was cited on suspicion of reckless driving.

The troopers proceed their investigation.
