Truck driver killed in single car crash in Spanish Fork Canyon

The Utah Freeway Patrol (UHP) confirmed {that a} truck driver was killed after crashing by way of a concrete barrier and rolling down an embankment on Monday.

On Monday morning, UHP responded to a single car crash SR-6 westbound at mile marker 135 in Spanish Fork Canyon.

In line with KSL, a semi truck driver misplaced management because the highway curved on a downhill grade, going off the best aspect of the roadway.

The truck hit and slid on a concrete barrier for tons of of ft earlier than rolling down an embankment and catching hearth.

The truck driver was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
