Trucker wounded, suspects at giant, following capturing on I-5 at Grapevine

A truck driver was injured on Monday night time throughout a capturing that’s beneath investigation by the California Freeway Patrol (CHP).

The capturing occurred round 7:30 p.m. on March 27 on northbound I-5, north of Grapevine Highway.

CHP acquired stories of a person and a girls strolling on the freeway brandishing a firearm.

CBS Information stories that the pair stopped a semi truck, which led to an altercation. The truck driver was shot through the altercation.

The person and lady fled the scene on foot and stay at giant as of Tuesday morning.

The truck driver was hospitalized with non life-threatening accidents.

The suspects are described as a white male carrying all black and a white unarmed Hispanic feminine additionally carrying all black.

Northbound I-5 was shut down for hours in a single day as CHP investigated the incident, leading to heavy visitors backups.

Northbound I-5 reopened on Tuesday morning.
