Briefly: Main LTL service provides freight terminals in Midwest

Saia introduced Monday its deliberate phased opening of three new Saia LTL Freight terminals within the Midwest. The primary two services, one in Dodge Metropolis, and one other in Hays, Kansas, opened this week. A 3rd terminal in Colby is slated to open inside the subsequent few weeks.

With the addition of those places, Saia has opened a complete of 5 terminals throughout the third quarter.

47 cattle die in tractor-trailer rollover on I-44

A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma Sunday morning claimed the lives of 47 cattle.

A report by KOCO-TV mentioned 14 of the cows died on the higher deck of the trailer, which first responders needed to minimize open.
