Electrical industrial car producer Cenntro Electrical Group Restricted plans to unveil a hydrogen-fuel-cell Class 8 tractor on the 2023 Shopper Electronics Present (CES), Jan. 5-8, 2023, in Las Vegas.
The Logimax H864 is a 6×4 semi-tractor, representing Cenntro’s first entry into hydrogen gas cells and its first heavy-duty truck. The LMH864 has a complete weight of 25 tons and is designed for short- and long-haul functions.
The semi-tractor’s electrical motors are powered by high-efficiency sustainable hydrogen gas cells. Eight 210-liter banks convert hydrogen into electrical energy by combining it with oxygen, producing solely water as byproduct. The LMH864 shall be obtainable within the third quarter of 2023 and can launch in North America and Europe initially.
