Hazmat leak reported at Tennessee TA truck cease

A number of businesses responded to a hazmat incident at a truck cease in Lenoir Metropolis, Tennessee, on Thursday night.

In line with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Workplace, TN, (LCSO) first responders have been referred to as to the scene of the TA Truck Cease on Watt Highway for a semi truck reportedly leaking hazardous materials.

The truck cease was briefly evacuated, in keeping with WATE.

The Knoxville-Knox County Emergency Administration Company later stated that the leaking substance was peroxyacetic acid, which could be corrosive.
