Large rig driver saved going after shedding tire that precipitated deadly accident, Texas cops say

Legislation enforcement businesses in Texas are investigating a deadly accident reportedly brought on by a unfastened truck tire.

Harris County Constable Ted Heap says that the incident occurred Thursday night time on the Katy Tollway within the Houston space.

“At roughly 8:30, it seems an 18-wheeler misplaced a tire whereas touring eastbound on the Katy Freeway. The tire struck a automotive touring westbound on the Katy Tollway, killing a passenger within the entrance seat,” Heap mentioned.

“The driving force of the automotive, after being struck by the tire, crossed all 6 lanes of the freeway and crashed into the surface barrier wall, struggling non-life-threatening accidents because of the accident,” Heap continued.

The driving force of the automotive was transported to a hospital for remedy.
