Schneider builds its electrical fleet as much as 94 automobiles



Logistics service supplier (LSP) Schneider Nationwide Inc. has expanded its electrical fleet to 94 automobiles, counting its newest addition of two battery electrical terminal tractors from Lonestar Specialty Autos, the corporate stated Thursday.

The Lonestar S22 terminal electrical tractors (also called “yard spotters”) have changed two diesel models and are getting used to maneuver trailers at Schneider’s Rancho Cucamonga, California, cross dock facility.

Every tractor can run for a whole 24-hour interval earlier than needing to be recharged, with a full cost taking an estimated hour and a half.
