FMCSA declares as we speak as ‘CMV Driver Appreciation Day’

As a part of Nationwide Truck Driver Appreciation Week, the Federal Motor Service Security Administration (FMCSA) is celebrating “CMV Driver Appreciation Day.”

The FMCSA stated:

CMV Drivers are very important to retaining our nation shifting. On Thursday, September 15, 2022, FMCSA is taking time to publicly acknowledge and rejoice all of the CMV drivers who dedicate themselves day by day to delivering our items and transporting our family members whereas retaining our roads protected.

CMV Driver Appreciation Day is an extension of Nationwide Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 11-17, 2022), a time dedicated to exhibiting gratitude for America’s truck drivers. We acknowledge the shared dedication of all skilled drivers throughout the business, and it’s essential we come collectively as a group to precise our appreciation.

In honor of CMV Driver Appreciation Day the FMCSA hosted an occasion at U.S. Division of Transportation headquarters that includes Deputy Secretary of Transportation Polly Trottenberg, FMCSA Deputy Administrator Robin Hutcheson, and CMV drivers.
