State says ‘sure’ to $175 million to improve Oakland Seaport gateway



The California Transportation Fee (CTC) accredited $175 million in funding at the moment for the seventh Road Grade Separation East Undertaking (Undertaking). The Alameda County Transportation Fee (Alameda CTC) partnered with the CTC and the Metropolis and Port of Oakland to advance this high-priority items motion undertaking into building. The Undertaking will realign and reconstruct a major trucking and entry gateway into the Port of Oakland. The reconstructed entry into the Oakland Seaport will relieve truck and car congestion, improve security and present flexibility for seaport cargo operations. The Undertaking features a shared bicycle/pedestrian pathway for public entry to the Center Harbor Shoreline Park and can improve effectivity, foster sustainability and assist your complete Northern California financial system.
